Feb 2010 - Which falls faster, a water balloon or a grapefruit?

Yes, it is science fair time. Ryann was so excited to do her first science fair project. She was the first one in her room to turn it in she was so excited. Her hypothesis was that a grapefruit would fall faster...because logically it is heavier. We tested her theory with Mike and I timing the drops on two seperate stop watches. Mike felt like the data, although not very obvious proved Ryann's hypothesis. Luckily she had to find a reference for her project which told us in fact that her hypothesis was inncorrect.


She had a lot of fun and was very proud of her final project.
